CONSULAR AFFAIRS 

The Consular Section of the Mozambique High Commission deals with bilateral consular issues relating to the movement of citizens of the Republic of Mozambique residing in the United Kingdom, as well as in territorial jurisdictions covered by this Diplomatic Mission and that of citizens of the United Kingdom and other foreign nationals domiciled in the UK or otherwise* requiring travel clearance to Mozambique or other consular services meant to produce legal effect in Mozambique or vice-versa.

Mozambican President Armando Guebuza on Wednesday in the South Korean capital city Seoul invited companies to invest in his country now that the necessary conditions have been created.

Prime Minister visists science park
 
Mozambican Prime Minister Alberto Vaquina on Saturday visited the Science and Technology Park which is under construction at Maluana, about 90 kilometres north of the capital city Maputo, as part of a tour he is conducting of Maputo province.

Mozambique and Japan sign historic agreement
 
Mozambique and Japan on Saturday in the Japanese city of Yokohama signed a bilateral agreement for the protection of investments - the first agreement of its type that Japan has entered into in sub Saharan Africa.
